Dutch singer-songwriter Peter Van Vleuten, a musician and vocalist for more than 20 years, releases his first solo album: 'Once Upon A Song'. It is a collection of new, original material that he came up with while traveling through the US in 2010 and 2011. Though musical influences on the album vary from rock and country to americana and blues, there is one thing that links all songs: Peter's ability to tell a story that rings true and sincere. The listener becomes a witness.

The songs for the album presented themselves through the people Peter encountered and stories they shared with him. All in all, Peter came up with some 40 songs, 12 of which were selected for the album. On return in The Netherlands, he started to work on the CD with 15 of Holland's leading musicians and producer/engineer Leo Sienot
